Automation of Roller Furnace Lines

The company Wienstroth Wärmebehandlungstechnik GmbH works on special solutions for the heat treatment of steel. Part of the solutions is the construction of turnkey industrial furnace lines.

Together with the company Wienstroth, we have developed automation solutions for roller furnace lines and annealing lines.

For the realisation of such large-scale automation projects, we offer the following:

• Development of the electric CAE documentation
• PLC programming, PC programming under Eclipse
• Switchgear engineering in our own factory
• Worldwide start up and after sales service
• 24h service

We realise the project planning of these large-scale projects with the tools WS-CAD, Siemens Step7 Manager and Siemens WinCC which are integrated in our EngineeringCenter ONEtool.

The furnace lines can be operated from a central point. Here, Siemens PC hardware is used.

The functional requirements on the operator system of a furnace line are as follows:

• Batch tracing in the whole furnace flow
• Reproducibility of the line condition (movement data)
• Master data: order management, heat treatment programs

For the realisation of these requirements, the software modules ONEview and ONEexchange are used.
