Which lines can be modernized when a retrofit is made?In principle, all lines can be modernized. A replacement of the SPS is mostly easy to do and offers your company a real additional benefit. When replacing a SPS, it is not important which Type of SPS will be replaced. For the European market, mainly Siemens S5 lines are replaced with Siemens S7 SPS systems. Especially in case of older extruder controls, a retrofit pays off. The investment volume amounts to, depending on the range, only 20 to 60 percent of a new acquisition. How high is the stage of extension of the ONE systems?Because of the vendor independence regarding the machine hardware, the ONE systems can nearly be extended without limit. Each part of your production line can be integrated. Depending on the complexness of the total line, e. g. several ONEoperate systems can be positioned where it is reasonable for the operator. ONEview for the visualisation in a control room and ONEdatagate for the process data recording and analysis can also be extended by several line components without any difficulties. Can the lines also be used in the USA or in Canada?If requested, our automation lines are configurated according to UL guideline 508A. Then, the lines are labeled and are then certified according to UL resp. cUL. How is service guaranteed?Service is guaranteed with a 24 hour hotline. When dialing the hotline numbers , you can directly talk to a service engineer who will quickly and unbureaucratically help you. Is BSG producer independent?Yes, in every respect. On the one hand, for our automation lines, we use hard and software from international market leaders. So we give you a high investment protection. On the other hand, our automation lines are independent from the machine hardware used. Therefore, it is not important for which brand of extruder, pelletizer, conveyance and balance technology etc. you decide. You provide us with the requirements regarding the line and we take care of the control system and the smooth interaction. Can the ONE systems individually be used?Normally, the ONE systems function independently and modules can be added.
